New Atari Music Software Adds Music Stand to Arcade Source NBC News
The Atari Music software has been available on the Atari brand for nearly five years.
Now, Atari has added the Music Stand software to the store, the first time the software has made its way to a home entertainment system.
“We’re excited to add Music Stand for our customers,” said Gary Fung, Atari’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.
“The Music Stand allows users to easily play their music, as well as play back songs stored in the Music Software, without the need for a separate controller.
It also allows users of other Atari devices to play music on their systems.”
Music Stand is also available for purchase as a free download on the company’s website.
Fung said the Music stands are compatible with all Atari devices, including the Atari X-Box, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 8-bit, Atari ST, Atari Jaguar, Atari Lynx, Atari Pegasus, Atari Falcon, Atari GT, Atari CX-series, Atari Mega Drive, Atari GEM, Atari M64, Atari PC-600, Atari 64, Atari SHARC, Atari SG-1000, Atari MSX, Atari Amiga, Atari Master System, Atari Game Boy Advance, Atari NES, Atari CD, Atari Pico, Atari XE, Atari ZX Spectrum, Atari XL, Atari TV, Atari Palm, Atari N64, and the Atari Jaguar II.
Fong also said the software will be compatible with any Atari game system.
